ANNOTATION

The article examines the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine under martial law, applying statistical methods for comprehensive analysis. Entrepreneurship is considered a system-forming element of a market economy and a key driver of socio-economic development, contributing to job creation, innovation, competitiveness, and investment activity. Amid military aggression, the Ukrainian entrepreneurial sector has faced unprecedented challenges, including infrastructure destruction, reduced domestic demand, disrupted logistics, and shortages of labor and financial resources.

To assess entrepreneurial dynamics, the study employs a range of statistical techniques, including analysis and synthesis, comparative analysis, grouping methods, index methods, correlation and regression analysis, and graphical visualization of indicators. Cluster and variance analyses were conducted across Ukrainian regions, identifying three groups based on the level of business activity and adaptive capacity under wartime conditions.

The results reveal significant regional differentiation in entrepreneurial activity. The highest levels of activity are concentrated in central and western regions, while the most vulnerable are front-line and temporarily occupied territories. Financial performance indicators, such as production and sales volumes, operating and net profits, proved to be decisive factors in cluster formation. Despite a decrease in the number of enterprises and profitability, Ukrainian businesses demonstrate resilience through relocation of production, market diversification, and adoption of digital technologies.

The findings provide an objective basis for understanding the mechanisms of entrepreneurial sector functioning during crises, identifying factors of business resilience, and defining state policy measures to support entrepreneurship during the war and in post-war economic recovery.
