ANNOTATION
The article aims to present the results of a study on the characteristics of human capital in agricultural enterprises. It explores how the specifics of agriculture as an industry, rural areas as the primary source of human capital in agricultural enterprises, and the nature of these enterprises themselves impact the human capital within them. The study was prompted by the understanding that modern agriculture's ability to function effectively depends on achieving a competitive level of economic efficiency, which is greatly influenced by the presence of high-quality human capital. Therefore, understanding these specific features provides potential opportunities to enhance the quality and efficiency of human capital utilization in the industry, thereby improving overall enterprise efficiency. The research revealed that the characteristics of rural areas and the agricultural sector significantly influence the functioning of agricultural enterprises and consequently shape the attributes of their human capital. This includes specific requirements for the quality and utilization of human capital. Key features of human capital in agricultural enterprises influenced by the specifics of rural areas and the agricultural industry include a broad range of qualifications, the ability to constantly update professional knowledge and skills, adeptness at performing various operational tasks, good health and resilience, creative abilities, high investment attractiveness due to potential high returns, and adaptability to dynamic operating conditions. The study did not consider the impact of wartime specifics on the formation and functioning of human capital in agricultural enterprises due to their temporary nature.
