The article is devoted to topical issues of investment activities analysis of agricultural enterprises as the main subjects of agrarian entrepreneurship. Investment activity of agricultural enterprises is considered as their purposeful activity related to the investment of resources (cash, tangible or intangible assets) to preserve or increase their current value. Having assessed the main dynamic trends of investment in the agrarian sphere, it is found that in recent years there has been a clear tendency to increase the volume of capital investments in the agricultural business sector of Ukraine. Military aggression on the territory of Ukraine led to a decrease in the physical amount of capital investments of agricultural enterprises in 2022. However, this indicator was almost 2.7 times higher than a similar indicator in 2012. The structural analysis of investment volumes of agricultural enterprises revealed the uneven distribution of investments both regionally and in the sectors. It was identified that the most active investment activity is carried out by agricultural enterprises of the central regions of Ukraine, whose economy has a clearly expressed agrarian direction, namely, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Poltava, and Cherkasy regions. As a result of the structural analysis of investments of agricultural enterprises, it was established that the main directions of investment activity by agricultural enterprises are the acquisition and creation of new assets (purchase of machines and equipment) for the cultivation of one-year and two-year crops (cereals, sunflowers, soybeans, winter rapeseed, etc.). The article analyzes the efficiency of investment activity of agricultural enterprises. It was revealed that despite the difficult conditions of wartime, agricultural enterprises managed to maintain a positive dynamic in terms of increasing the efficiency of investment activities.
