Managerial innovations: essence, types, classification and stages of implementation

ANNOTATION

The general aspects of managerial innovations implementation at industrial enterprises are stated. It was found that the active implementation of basic innovations contributes to the investment inflow of funds, is a prerequisite for overcoming the economic crisis and transition to the revival and growth of production and the economy as a whole. It is indicated that in the modern conditions of the enterprises functioning, investment in industry without implementing innovations does not make sense, since industrial enterprises have low competitiveness. It has been confirmed that introduction of managerial innovations that contribute to improvement of the various aspects of their operations, in particular, management, can be no less effective for industrial enterprises. It consists in creating an environment that provides all the conditions necessary for effective interaction between business entities at all levels of management: the head of the enterprise, directional deputies, heads and employees of departments.

The concept of the economic essence of «managerial innovations» was studied, which made it possible to give their own definition of the concept of “managerial innovations”.

It has been proved that managerial innovations, in contrast to technological and other innovations, have their own specific features, since they are usually associated with personnel and, as a result, have significant resistance to their implementation.

The factors that indicate the need for managerial innovations implementation into the industrial enterprises operations have been identified. The classification of managerial innovations of industrial enterprises is given according to the types of enterprise operations and their content is disclosed. It has been substantiated that the effectiveness of managerial innovations implementation is determined not only by the innovation recommendations, but also by the rationality of introducing new ideas processes at the enterprise. The features of managerial innovations are reviewed.

The work suggests the stages of innovations implementation at native industrial enterprises, which will ensure stable economic and innovative development of an industrial enterprise.
